Robot-Proof: How you, your kids, or your grandkids can survive and surf the automation tsunami

The automation tsunami is rapidly approaching and will affect us all. Artificial intelligence, robotics, analytics, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things will change the way we all work. Organizations including Price Waterhouse Coopers, McKinsey, and Oxford University are all projecting that 40-50% of today’s jobs are at risk of automation within the next couple of decades. The transformation of the workplace won’t just affect manufacturing jobs and call centers; Both blue- and white-collar jobs will be affected. In this important talk, futurist Steve Brown reviews why he and others believe we must expect widespread automation and rapid changes to the workplace. He will then explain which skills we, our children, or our grandchildren will need to maintain our value in the post-automation economy. We all need to become “robot-proof”.
